Geoff Johns Origin


Geoff Johns was born on 25th of January, 1973 in Detroit. He would graduate from Clarkston High school in 1991 and Studied media arts, screenwriting, film production and film theory with his graduation from Michigan State University in 1995. At the beginning of his career, he began as a film assistant for director Rickard Donner whom he considered him as a mentor. Eventually, he turned to his more popular side which is DC comics, with the titles he began, Starts and S.T.R.I.P.E and creating a new superhero, Stargirl. He would continue to write stories for DC, including, The Flash: Rebirth and Blackest Night.

Eventually, he would become Chief Creative Officer of DC Entertainment (this role is made to expand the DC brand to other media platform). He would continue to write comings throughout the 2010s. In 2018, he decides to step down the role and established a production company, Mad Ghost Production, using DC Comic characters so that he can focus more on the film, television and comic books.
